ACVFFI attended to “Global Vision of Safety Investigation”
JIAAC (Argentian Air Accident Investigation Authority) hold from 2014 the JIAAC Conferences which have become a unique meeting opportunity for the entire aviation community. This time it has an even more significant relevance due to the presence of leaders and representatives of the main manufacturers and associations, together with officials from organisations and regulatory bodies in this area at the global level.
Under the motto “Global Vision of Safety Investigation”, this will be the first time that these different public figures discuss together the importance of accident investigation in Aviation Safety management.
ACVFFI is represented by Pilar Vera, its Chairwoman. She will speak at the closing ceremony. Below you can read the Agenda, is written in Spanish and some part in English.

The presentations will be organized into three main modules:
- Vision of national and regional authorities and regulatory bodies
- Vision of AIG organizations
- Vision of components and aircraft manufacturers
The Secretary of Transport, Guillermo Dietrich, along with authorities from the National Civil Aviation Administration will be in the first panel, together with the president if JIAAC, Pamela Suárez.
Representatives of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the USA, will lead the panel of investigation organizations, together with the National Director of Investigations, Daniel Barafani. Furthermore, Sebastien David, for the Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses pour la Sécurité de l’Aviation Civile (BEA) of France, and Frank del Gandio, for the International Society of Air Safety Investigators (ISASI) will be part of this panel.
Representatives of companies such as Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, ATR and Rolls-Royce will provide the view of components and aircraft manufacturers, especially on the topic of investigation.
Moreover, lectures by Mario Colavita, for the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA); Andre De Cock, for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Marcelo Ureña for ICAO SAM regional office, are scheduled.
