The vision of the victims and their families in the face of air disasters

On August 4 and 5, the seminar “New transport paradigms: Assistance to Air Accident Victims and their Families” was held in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina.

Aeronautical Law continually evolves toward new frontiers of knowledge. Assistance to victims of air accidents, and their families, is a new proposal of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) whose implications in Air Transport, Aviation Insurance, Aviation Psychology and Aviation Accident Investigation, make necessary a legal and interdisciplinary look. It was an open and free event for the public.

ACVFFI is committed to disseminating the point of view of the victims, in this sense, Pilar Vera, Chair of ACVFFI, was a speaker in Block 1 “Learning from the air system – Civil aviation accidents and assistance to accident victims airlines and their families” together with Víctor Aguado, Representative of Spain on the ICAO Council.
