ICAO’s Council has new members and, taking advantage of this situation, ACVFFI requested a meeting in order to introduce the Federation and make proposals.
The informal briefing was held on May 10, 2021, virtually for the covid-19 crisis. ACVFFI was represented by its Chairwoman and Secretary, Ms. Pilar Vera, and Mr. Junaid Hamid, and other ACVFFI members without intervention: Ms. Nadia Milleron from the USA, Air Accident of Flight ET302, Mr. Kourosh Doustshenas, Chair of Asociation of air disaster of Flight PS752, Ms. Sandra Assali from Brazilian Air Accident Asociation ABRAPAVAA, Ms. Monica Maccaferri- Italian Foundation Fondazione 8 Ottobre and Ms. Henar Guerrerofrom Spanish Air Accident Asociation AVJK5022.
The intention of ACVFFI was to make a brief introduction of the Federation and explain the eight Working Papers presented by ACVFFI and approved in 2016 in 39 ICAO General Assembly as well as in 2019 in 40 General Assembly. Following the spirit of the ACVFFI ‘ one voice for all over the air accident victims’, the presentation was made by Ms. Vera and Mr. Hamid on behalf of the Federation.
